Foodservice & Box Truck Operations
- Multi-Temp Fleet Operations: Safely operate a massive refrigerated box truck. You must meticulously manage the climate controls for frozen, chilled, and dry goods compartments to ensure strict food safety compliance during transit.
- Extreme Ramp Unloading: This is an incredibly physical, touch-freight role. You will utilize a steep metal ramp extending from the back of the box truck, using a two-wheel hand truck to aggressively run towering stacks of heavy food cases (often 50-80 lbs each) down the ramp and directly into restaurant coolers and basements.
- Customer Relationship Management: Act as the crucial link between Sysco and the Chef. You will review invoices on-site, process returns for damaged produce, and ensure the customer receives precisely what they ordered.
